The Sensex and Nifty ended lower on Tuesday, marking their second consecutive session of decline, as rising crude oil prices and ongoing US-Iran tensions kept investor risk appetite subdued.
Selling pressure in key blue-chip stocks, including ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank and Reliance Industries, further dragged the benchmark indices lower.
The 30-share benchmark index ended at 75577.58 down by -555.23 points or by -0.73 % and then NSE Nifty was at 23635.1 down by -144.05 points or by -0.61 %.
