Stock market benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty continued to trade in red on Monday as elevated crude oil prices, escalation in US-Iran hostilities and concerns over a possible US interest rate hike weighed on investors' sentiment.
At 12:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 76061.2 down by -454.23 points or by -0.59 % and then NSE Nifty was at 23761.4 down by -136.3 points or by -0.57 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 76477.19 and intraday low of 76021.56 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 23890 and intraday low of 23757.65
