Benchmark equity indices Sensex and Nifty continued to trade higher on Thursday, tracking a recovery in world markets as easing US Treasury yields improved global risk sentiment.
Fresh foreign fund inflows also added to the markets' optimism during the initial trading.
At 10:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 77455.64 up by 545.96 points or by 0.71 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24219.6 up by 141.3 points or by 0.59 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 77513.99 and intraday low of 77375.75 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24226.85 and intraday low of 24184.55
