Indian benchmark indices ended mixed on Thursday, with the Sensex gaining nearly 114 points while the Nifty declined over 40 points, as elevated crude oil prices and persistent geopolitical uncertainty kept investors cautious.
The Sensex closed higher despite the broader market remaining subdued, while the Nifty ended in negative territory amid pressure from concerns over rising energy costs and global uncertainties.
The 30-share benchmark index ended at 78079.96 up by 113.61 points or by 0.15 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24395.85 down by -40.1 points or by -0.16 %.
