Indian benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty ended higher on Thursday, supported by strong gains in blue-chip stocks, including Reliance Industries and HDFC Bank, along with sustained foreign institutional investor (FII) inflows.
Positive buying in heavyweight stocks helped lift the benchmark indices, enabling the market to finish the session in positive territory despite cautious global cues.
The 30-share benchmark index ended at 77928.15 up by 273.55 points or by 0.35 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24317.15 up by 66.95 points or by 0.28 %.
