Snapping a four-session losing streak, the BSE Sensex rebounded by 382 points on Tuesday, driven by strong buying interest in information technology stocks.
The recovery was led by gains in major IT counters, which helped lift overall market sentiment and offset weakness in select sectors. The rebound reflects renewed investor confidence in technology stocks and provided support to the broader market after several days of decline.
The 30-share benchmark index ended 74649.84 up by 382.5 points or by 0.52 % and then NSE Nifty was at 23483.55 up by 100.95 points or by 0.43 %.
