Indian equities extended gains during the noon trading session on Friday, with the Nifty reclaiming the 23,800 mark as strong buying in private banks and financial stocks outweighed weakness in pharma shares.
At 12:20 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 75661.8 up by 478.44 points or by 0.64 % and then NSE Nifty was at 23794.95 up by 140.25 points or by 0.59 %.
