Benchmark equity indices Sensex and Nifty surged on Tuesday after US President Donald Trump announced a pause on fresh military action against Iran following requests from Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
At 10:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 75672.9 up by 357.86 points or by 0.48 % and then NSE Nifty was at 23753.45 up by 103.5 points or by 0.44 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 75741.84 and intraday low of 75371.07 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 23768.95 and intraday low of 23647.4
