Indian benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty declined sharply in early Monday trading, as concerns escalated following the breakdown of US–Iran talks, which pushed crude oil prices higher and dampened investor sentiment.
At 9:50 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 76268.12 down by -1282.13 points or by -1.65 % and then NSE Nifty was at 23631.35 down by -419.25 points or by -1.74 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 76339.3 and intraday low of 75868.32 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 23699.7 and intraday low of 23555.6
