Equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty 50 surged on Wednesday, mirroring a strong rally in global markets amid rising hopes of a possible de-escalation in the ongoing West Asia conflict.
At 10:50 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 73380.15 up by 1432.6 points or by 1.99 % and then NSE Nifty was at 22797.15 up by 465.75 points or by 2.09 %.
