The Sensex and Nifty 50 advanced on the back of positive global cues after the United States postponed its planned strikes on Iran’s power infrastructure, easing geopolitical concerns.
At 9:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 73540.91 up by 844.52 points or by 1.16 % and then NSE Nifty was at 22839.9 up by 327.25 points or by 1.45 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 74212.47 and intraday low of 73474.5 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 22899.6 and intraday low of 22762.8
