Equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty extended their winning run for the third straight session on Tuesday, tracking positive trends in Asian markets and sustained foreign fund inflows.
At 10:45 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 84416.56 up by 350.81 points or by 0.42 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25957.85 up by 90.55 points or by 0.35 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 84447.37 and intraday low of 84063.47 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25978.9 and intraday low of 25870.45
The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 299.40,+3.65%), Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 209.00,+3.41%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (Rs. 15234.95,+1.71%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1647.40,+1.63%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 2994.55,+1.61%), among others.
