Indian equity benchmarks Sensex and Nifty are expected to open on a positive note on February 10, tracking firm cues from GIFT Nifty, which was trading around 25,984.50.
The optimism follows the previous session’s gains, driven by supportive global markets and broad-based buying across sectors. Sentiment was further boosted after the announcement of an interim trade framework with the US, which includes a reduction in reciprocal tariffs to 18 percent on several Indian goods.

US equity indexes closed higher on Monday, building on last week’s strong rally, as technology shares pushed the S&P 500 and Nasdaq upward and the Dow Jones Industrial Average notched new intraday and closing highs. The S&P 500 index rose 0.47 per cent, the Nasdaq Composite was up 0.9 per cent, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average settled almost flat with a positive bias.
