Investors remained cautious while tracking developments overseas, even as stock-specific action continued in the market against the backdrop of the ongoing Q3 earnings season.
The 30-share benchmark index ended at 82180.47 down by -1065.71 points or by -1.28 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25232.5 down by -353 points or by -1.38 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 83254.28 and intraday low of 82010.58 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25585 and intraday low of 25171.35
