Investors turned cautious ahead of key US economic data expected later this week, which could shape expectations around a possible Federal Reserve rate cut next month.
The 30-share benchmark index ended at 84673.02 down by -277.93 points or by -0.33 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25910.05 down by -103.4 points or by -0.4 %.
