Indian equities opened higher on Friday, recovering after a sharp two-day sell-off. Reliance Industries, the country’s largest company by market capitalisation, will hold its 48th annual general meeting (AGM) later today. According to analysts, investors will closely track updates on the company’s strategy to double its Jio and retail businesses over the next three to four years, along with its roadmap for the New Energy (NE) segment aimed at replicating earnings from the oil-to-chemicals (O2C) business.
At 9:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 80127.4 up by 46.83 points or by 0.06 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24531.8 up by 30.9 points or by 0.13 %.
