Indian stocks ended lower amid reports that the US President notified additional 25 per cent tariffs on India, thus placing the total tariff on India at 50 per cent, with-effect-from August 27.
The 30-share benchmark index ended at 80786.54 down by -849.37 points or by -1.04 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24712.05 down by -255.7 points or by -1.02 %.
