Benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty continued to trade lower on Tuesday after the US issued a draft notice over the implementation of an additional 25 per cent tariff on Indian imports.
Additionally, persistent foreign fund outflows and a weak trend in Asian markets also dampened sentiment.
At 10:45 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 80983.69 down by -652.22 points or by -0.8 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24789.7 down by -178.05 points or by -0.71 %.
