At 9:50 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 80996.78 down by -639.13 points or by -0.78 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24766.3 down by -201.45 points or by -0.81 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 81450.28 and intraday low of 80947.26 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24919.65 and intraday low of 24758.75
