Indian benchmarks continued its choppy trade during the late morning deals amid mixed global cues. Among sectors, the Nifty IT index fell 1 per cent, followed by the Nifty FMCG index. On the upside, the Nifty PSU Banks index rose 1.5 per cent, followed by the Nifty Media index (0.6 per cent).
Meanwhile in Asia, Australian stock market is slightly lower on Monday, extending the slight losses in the previous session, following the broadly negative cues from Wall Street on Friday. The Japanese stock market is trading modestly lower on Monday, extending the losses in the previous two sessions.
Among key stocks, shares of Ola Electric Mobility rose over 5 per cent on Monday after the company's net profit widened in the first quarter of the financial year. Shares of Neuland Laboratories rallied 10 per cent to ₹13,500 on the BSE in Monday’s intra-day trade.
Whereas Avenue Supermarts tumbled 3.2 percent as its June quarter results came in below consensus estimates.
At 11:41 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 82107.75 down by -392.72 points or by -0.48 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25036.35 down by -113.5 points or by -0.45 %.
In the volatile trade so-far, Sensex touched intraday high of 82537.87 and intraday low of 82059.01 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25151.1 and intraday low of 25019.75.

Whereas, the top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1570.30,-1.54%), Bajaj Finance Ltd. (Rs. 919.50,-1.48%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1579.90,-1.44%), Asian Paints Ltd. (Rs. 2404.60,-1.43%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 3222.60,-1.31%), among others.
