Equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty were trading higher on Thursday, tracking positive cues from Asian markets and buoyed by optimism surrounding a potential India-US trade deal.
Analysts noted that the recent US-Vietnam trade agreement also contributed to the upbeat sentiment in domestic equities.
At 10:45 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 83720.66 up by 310.97 points or by 0.37 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25551.55 up by 98.15 points or by 0.39 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 83781.59 and intraday low of 83348.49 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25567.5 and intraday low of 25429.75
