Indian benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty 50, are expected to open on a firm note today, taking cues from GIFT Nifty, which was trading higher around 24,781 earlier this morning.
Market sentiment is likely to be influenced by key domestic and global factors, including India’s May WPI inflation data, rising geopolitical tensions between Israel and Iran, an uptick in crude oil prices, China’s May retail sales and industrial production figures, institutional investment trends, and mixed global market cues. These developments will be closely watched and are expected to steer the direction of the indices on the first trading session of the week.
