Equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty tumbled on Friday in tandem with weak Asian markets amid a sharp spike in Brent crude oil prices after Israel attacked Iran's capital.
At 10:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 80960.1 down by -731.88 points or by -0.9 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24672.25 down by -215.95 points or by -0.87 %.
