GK Energy has secured a Rs 235.92 crore order from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) to deploy 10,000 off-grid DC solar-powered water pumping systems across Maharashtra under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana.
The contract covers the design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 3 HP, 5 HP, and 7.5 HP solar-powered agricultural pumping systems. The project aims to provide farmers with reliable and sustainable energy for irrigation while reducing dependence on conventional power sources.
With this latest order, GK Energy's cumulative orders from MSEDCL have reached Rs 637.83 crore (inclusive of GST), strengthening its position in Maharashtra's renewable energy infrastructure sector. The company said the project will be executed within 60 days from the issuance of the work order.
The order further reinforces GK Energy's role in supporting government-led clean energy initiatives and expanding solar-powered infrastructure across rural India.
