Silver futures traded lower on Friday, with prices falling Rs 1,883 to Rs 2,73,000 per kilogram as traders pared their positions.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), silver contracts for July delivery declined 0.69 per cent, or Rs 1,883, to Rs 2,73,000 per kg in a turnover of 1,492 lots.
Market analysts said profit booking and selling pressure by participants weighed on silver prices in futures trade.
