TVS Motor Company has approved the appointment of Ravindran Shanmugam as an Additional Director and Non-Executive Independent Director for a term of five consecutive years, effective May 13, 2026, subject to shareholder approval through postal ballot.
The company said the appointment was approved by its Board of Directors at a meeting held on Wednesday. TVS Motor also clarified that Ravindran Shanmugam is not related to any director of the company and is not debarred by SEBI or any other authority from holding the office of director.
Ravindran Shanmugam, popularly known as Ravi, is the Co-founder and Executive Chairman of Singapore-based Mablle, an AI-enabled interior design and renovation platform focused on digitising the home renovation industry through AI-driven workflows and technology-led execution.
Before founding Mablle, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Livspace Southeast Asia, where he played a key role in expanding the business across the region. He also led the acquisition and scaling of Qanvast, a renovation discovery and marketplace platform.
Earlier in his career, Ravi held senior leadership positions at Grab and worked as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company in London. At Grab, he contributed to the development of dynamic pricing and marketplace algorithms, while at McKinsey he advised organisations on strategy, operations and technology transformation initiatives.
A graduate in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford, Ravi brings expertise in AI applications, digital infrastructure, platform businesses and technology-driven innovation. TVS Motor said his experience will support the Board in areas related to digital transformation, innovation, technology governance and long-term value creation.
