"ADAG's entry in the CBM sector is a good sign for the state," a source said.
The Coal-Bed Methane cn help in the power generation as it is a kind of a natural gas dug out from coal beds form drilling holes into coal seams. This gas can be used as the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), for the power generation purposes and the fertilizer manufacturing.
This scheme of power production from the CBM would serve as a alternative eco-friendly source of energy which would not adversely effect the ozone layer threat. Sources said that it was a matter of pride for the company that Madhya Pradesh has abundant deposits of the CBM.
