Ampere, the electric two-wheeler brand of Greaves Electric Mobility, has launched the Magnus Grand — an upgraded family e-scooter designed to raise the bar in style, comfort, durability, safety and advanced LFP battery technology. Building on the success of the Magnus Neo, which achieved milestones such as the 2,300-km Bengaluru–Delhi ride, the Magnus Grand represents Ampere’s next step in urban mobility innovation.
At the heart of the Magnus Grand is a Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LFP) battery with a five-year or 75,000 km warranty, engineered to withstand India’s diverse travel conditions. The scooter debuts two premium dual-tone colours — Matcha Green and Ocean Blue — paired with gold-finish badging, giving it a modern, aspirational look aligned with evolving customer lifestyles.
According to Vikas Singh, Managing Director of Greaves Electric Mobility, the Magnus Grand highlights Ampere’s focus on real-world performance, safety and user-centric design. “With Magnus Grand, we are empowering riders to raise their expectations, offering enhanced comfort, safety and convenience that transform everyday journeys into confident, enjoyable experiences,” he said.
Key upgrades include a refreshed digital display, strengthened grab rails, advanced braking technology, a durable LFP battery with double the expected life, spacious seating and high payload capacity. Introductorily priced at ?89,999 (ex-showroom), the Magnus Grand aims to make smart, accessible mobility a reality for Indian households.
Backed by Ampere’s 17 years of electric mobility expertise and a growing base of over 300,000 riders, the Magnus Grand reinforces the company’s commitment to delivering meaningful upgrades that enrich the riding experience and accelerate India’s transition to sustainable, connected transport.
