Startup India, under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CarDekho Group to strengthen India’s startup ecosystem in mobility, fintech, insurtech, and emerging technology sectors.
The collaboration will provide DPIIT-recognised startups with mentorship, market access, technology infrastructure, and funding opportunities, leveraging CarDekho’s platforms, including CarDekho, InsuranceDekho, rupyy, BikeDekho, ZigWheels, PowerDrift, Revv, CollegeDekho, and Crack-ED. Startups will also benefit from innovation challenges under the Bharat Startup Grand Challenge, guidance from CarDekho’s leadership network, co-investment opportunities via the Girnar Vision Fund, and skill development initiatives.
Joint Secretary, DPIIT, Shri Sanjiv, highlighted that connecting corporate expertise with startup innovation can unlock solutions in mobility, finance, and sustainability. Amit Jain, Co-founder & CEO of CarDekho Group, added that the partnership will enable mentoring, funding, and market access for emerging entrepreneurs.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Sumeet Jarangal, Director, DPIIT, and Amit Jain, in the presence of senior officials from both organisations.
